Groundswell Arts is a participatory arts organisation with a strong track record of delivering inspiring, inclusive creative learning experiences in schools. Their CPD sessions support teachers and support staff to embed creativity across the curriculum — from movement and puppetry to filmmaking and staff wellbeing. All training is hands-on, playful, and tailored to your school’s needs.

Dancing Together (with Mafe Toledo)

Choose from three active CPD options:

  1. Inclusive & Sensory Movement for SEND Learners – Learn how to adapt movement for diverse needs using rhythm, sensory play and body awareness.
  2. Dancing Through the Curriculum – Link movement to English, Maths, History and Science to deepen engagement and creative thinking.
  3. Toddler Movement Play – Ideal for Early Years practitioners exploring how movement supports cognitive and emotional development.

Puppetry with Tinka Slavicek

Explore the power of puppetry to unlock storytelling, oracy, emotional regulation and collaboration. Choose from object puppets, sock puppets, wooden spoons, shadow puppets and more. All materials supplied.

Animation and Green Screen Filmmaking

Hands-on training in iPad filmmaking to bring topics to life across the curriculum. Includes animation, green screen, and SEND-focused approaches. Access to lesson plans, tutorials and an online portal is included.

Creativity, Laughter & Fun – Staff Wellbeing

An uplifting, playful session (in partnership with Pact Creative) to build connection, reduce stress and energise your staff team. Expect games, improvisation and creative exercises to bring joy into the school day.

Develop playful approaches to learning and behaviour support, especially for those working with younger children or pupils with additional needs.
