Cultural Education Summit
Autumn 2025
We’re delighted to welcome you to this year’s Cultural Education Summit 2025. Together we’ll explore this year’s theme The power of arts and culture to transform lives.
Hands-on workshops, energising discussion, and the chance to connect with colleagues across schools, cultural organisations, and Haringey’s vibrant creative sector.
Our opening keynote comes from MC Shocka (Kenneth Erhahon), a Haringey-born artist whose work and writing on mental health and creativity speak directly to the heart of our mission. He sets the tone for an afternoon that champions creativity as a catalyst for wellbeing, belonging, and opportunity for every child and young person.
Across the programme you can dive into workshops with brilliant partners including The Daughters United, Primary Art Teachers Network, Quilt Club, The Black Curriculum, and the George Padmore Institute’s artist in residence, Dominique Le Gendre. Each session runs twice so you can experience a breadth of practice, from curriculum enrichment and inclusive pedagogy to youth voice and community co-creation.

“There is young potential. If we don’t plant the seeds, we cannot expect flowers to grow. This is what Haringey Creates does, it nurtures this potential and this process. They are a really important and valuable organisation in Haringey.”
