Creativity for all

Improving access to and advocating for arts education by connecting the Arts, Cultural and Education Sectors in Haringey.

What can we offer teachers?

  • Are you looking for an artist to help you with a school project? Are you looking to improve literacy skills? We are here to help schools find an artist or creative organisation to do this work with you
  • CPD focussing on developing your confidence in teaching arts subjects
  • Showcase opportunities to share the work going on in your school

What can we offer artists & arts organisations?

  • Partnership opportunities with schools and other local arts organisations
  • A platform to share your programmes
  • Showcase opportunities to share your work
  • CPD to support your development and prepare you for working with children and young people in a school setting

  • We are so excited to be a part of the upcoming Haringey Feast. As the cultural education partnership of the borough, one of our key aims is to improve access to cultural activity for all of Haringey’s young people, so when Haringey Council invited us to be a part of this historic cultural event – we were ecstatic.

  • Do you want to know more about career pathways in the creative industries? Are you eager to hear directly from creative professionals about how they got to where they are today? We’ve got something exciting coming up for you.

  • In November 2022 Haringey Creates hosted the annual Haringey Cultural Eduation Summit at Bernie Grant Arts Centre. The summit aimed to bring teachers, artists and creative organisations together to share the work taking place across our borough. After a welcome from Hannah Newman from A New Direction, attendees participated in a series of workshops hosted by creatives working in Haringey.
